2017-18 Building Maintenance Panel

The Alpine Shire Council is seeking submissions from suitably capable and experienced contractors to undertake a variety of minor building maintenance work associated with Council owned Buildings throughout the Alpine Shire Council within the 2017-18 Financial Year.
Contractors are invited to submit hourly rates for one or more of the following categories;
• Builder (including structural elements)
• General Handyman / Labourer
• Air Conditioning
• Windows and Glazing
• Labour Hire
• Cleaning of Gutters and Downpipes
• Septic tank clearing / waste effluent removal
• Waste water treatment system servicing (small scale domestic / commercial)
All contractors that provide a response to this request for quote will be considered for work during the 2017-18 financial year; however contractors will be initially ranked according to the quote assessment criteria. Additionally, contractors that are found to provide good value as well as a responsive and quality service will be favored for further work.
Jobs may be either reactive or routine in nature; Reactive maintenance jobs may require urgent attention and details of the work required to resolve an issue may be limited. Contractors may be asked to inspect the job and provide feedback to the relevant Council Officer as to the best way to resolve the issue. Urgent reactive maintenance jobs are likely be allocated based on the availability of individual contractors.
Routine maintenance jobs will typically be pre-planned or scheduled tasks that can be arranged with the allocated contractor in advance. A greater level of detail on the scope of work required will generally be made available to the allocated contractor.
Individual jobs completed under this contract will be up to a maximum value of $5,000 + GST.
