Hort Innovation is a not-for-profit, grower-owned Research and Development Corporation (RDC) for Australia’s $15.1 billion horticulture industry. Hort Innovation invests around $120 million in research and development (R&D) and marketing programs annually to provide benefit to industry and the wider community.
Hort Innovation is seeking a suitably qualified, experienced and capable delivery partner for the project: Supply chain engagement (MG21500).
The objectives of the services being sought are to:
• Be the key contact for the mango industry for all supply chain stakeholders
• Bring together the key projects being supported by Hort Innovation, namely, Crop Forecasting, Quality Standards, and Consumer Demand to maximise their understanding and support within the mango supply chain
• Generate alignment across the whole mango supply chain to maximise project impacts and minimise any risks
• Maximise the engagement and support by the major grocery retailers and independents, and leverage their ability to access large numbers of consumers in the most cost-effective manner
• Deliver specific outputs each mango season, such as:
o Stakeholder engagement activity timeline/plan
o Retailer pre-season events
o Point of purchase displays
o Retailer head office launches
o Mango sales challenges
Hort Innovation has prepared a Request for Proposal (RFP) document that provides background information, outlines the scope of services, the procurement process and the information required from interested parties.
