Hort Innovation is a not-for-profit, grower-owned Research and Development Corporation (RDC) for Australia's $9 billion horticulture industry. Hort Innovation invests around $100 million in research and development (R&D) and marketing programs annually to provide benefit to industry and the wider community.
Hort Innovation is seeking a suitably qualified, experienced and capable delivery partner for the project: Citrus agrichemical and export MRL program (CT18001).
The objectives of the services are to help Hort Innovation:
• Manage and respond to pest and disease threats to the citrus industry
• Manage and respond to the maintenance of control options including chemical controls, for pests and diseases to the citrus industry
• Ensure ongoing monitoring of overseas Maximum Residue Limits (MRLs) and provide timely advice to the citrus industry
• Provide a coordinated approach to residue monitoring for the citrus industry
• Strengthen supply-chain engagement between citrus growers, packing-houses, exporters and technical consultants and pest monitors
• Develop and communicate reference material to support industry in complying with MRLs
• Strengthen linkages with national and international researchers working on citrus agrichemical management and with Hort Innovation and government agencies (state and Commonwealth).
Hort Innovation has prepared a Request for Proposal (RFP) document that provides background information, outlines the scope of services, the procurement process and the information required from interested parties.
