Horticulture Innovation Australia (Hort Innovation) is a not-for-profit, grower-owned Research and Development Corporation (RDC) for Australia's $9 billion horticulture industry. Hort Innovation invests around $100 million in research and development (R&D) and marketing programs annually to provide benefit to industry and the wider community.
Hort Innovation is seeking a suitably qualified, experienced and capable delivery partner for the project: Implementing best practice of avocado fruit management and handling practices (AV18000).
The objectives of the services are to help Hort Innovation and the avocado industry measure changes in avocado fruit robustness (postharvest quality) by implementing and monitoring the adoption of avocado postharvest quality resources including known research outputs from farm gate to ripening distribution centres.
Hort Innovation has prepared a Request for Proposal (RFP) document that provides background information, outlines the scope of services, the procurement process and the information required from interested parties.

The closing date for responses is 5.00 pm (AEDT), Friday, 12 October 2018.
