Request for Proposal: Biosecurity plan for the lychee, papaya and passionfruit industries
Hort Innovation is a not-for-profit, grower-owned Research and Development Corporation (RDC) for Australia's $9 billion horticulture industry. Hort Innovation invests around $100 million in research and development (R&D) and marketing programs annually to provide benefit to industry and the wider community.
Hort Innovation is seeking a suitably qualified, experienced and capable delivery partner for the project: Biosecurity plan for the lychee, papaya and passionfruit industries (MT18006).
The objectives of the services being sought are to develop and disseminate a biosecurity plan for the lychee, papaya and passionfruit industries, and maintain a current implementation table by:
• Supporting the Australian lychee, papaya and passionfruit industries in satisfying biosecurity obligations
• Ensuring that the lychee, papaya and passionfruit industries and stakeholders have identified exotic pest risks and mitigation actions necessary to managing risks effectively
• Establishing a valid base for decisions on future investment in biosecurity-related RD&E.
Hort Innovation has prepared a Request for Proposal (RFP) document that provides background information, outlines the scope of services, the procurement process and the information required from interested parties.
