Request for Proposal: Macadamia grower guide (MC19001)
Hort Innovation is a not-for-profit, grower-owned Research and Development Corporation (RDC) for Australia’s $14.4 billion horticulture industry. Hort Innovation invests around $110 million in research and development (R&D) and marketing programs annually to provide benefit to industry and the wider community.
Hort Innovation is seeking a suitably qualified, experienced and capable delivery partner for the project: Macadamia grower guide (MC19001).
The objectives of the services being sought are to:
• Consult widely with the macadamia industry to identify and understand the strengths and weaknesses of previous macadamia grower resources, including content, level of detail and style.
• Provide an up to date and easily updatable digital grower guide which includes establishment, irrigation, soil health, nutrition, integrated orchard management, canopy architecture, harvesting, handling and other areas which are identified as priorities through industry consultation.
• Ensure topics in the new grower guide are well integrated and holistically discussed with clear indication of regional and new production systems. The prioritisation of content will need to be discussed with the project reference group within the first 8 weeks of contracting.
• The grower guide should include the following features: compatibility with mobile devices, high quality graphics, frequently asked questions (FAQ) and content searchability.
• The digital resource will preferably have full compatibility with Hort Innovation’s content management system, Episerver (www.episerver.com).
• Develop a plan for the updating and maintaining the grower guide.
Hort Innovation has prepared a Request for Proposal (RFP) document that provides background information, outlines the scope of services, the procurement process and the information required from interested parties.
The RFP may be downloaded from www.tenders.net (you will need to be a member of tenders.net to access this information).
The closing date for responses is 5.00 pm (AEST) 25 September 2020.
