Request for Proposal: Sweet potato export strategy (PW20004)
Hort Innovation is a not-for-profit, grower-owned Research and Development Corporation (RDC) for Australia’s $14.4 billion horticulture industry. Hort Innovation invests around $110 million in research and development (R&D) and marketing programs annually to provide benefit to industry and the wider community.
Hort Innovation is seeking a suitably qualified, experienced and capable delivery partner for the project: Sweet potato export strategy (PW20004).
The objectives of the services are to assist Hort Innovation provide industry with an export strategy resource to identify export development and growth priorities within the industry. The strategy is to:
• Direct industry and government export activities, including market access prioritisation, market access development, industry export capability building and international market development
• Be a resource for growers and exporters looking to develop their export capability, identify international market opportunities and to grow their exports
• Be a resource to inform effective R&D and marketing investments by Hort Innovation through levy or Hort Frontier funds in export development projects related to market access, industry capability or international market development
• Provide data, information and business plans to support market access and improvement applications to the International Market Access Assessment Panel (IMAAP) (previously TAP).
Hort Innovation has prepared a Request for Proposal (RFP) document that provides background information, outlines the scope of services, the procurement process and the information required from interested parties.
