Hort Innovation is a not-for-profit, grower-owned Research and Development Corporation (RDC) for Australia’s $15.1 billion horticulture industry. Hort Innovation invests around $120 million in research and development (R&D) and marketing programs annually to provide benefit to industry and the wider community.
Hort Innovation is seeking a suitably qualified, experienced and capable delivery partner for the project: Educating health and foodservice professionals on almond nutrition, versatility and sustainability (AL20000).
The objectives of the services being sought are to:
• Expand the presence of Australian almonds on the ‘plate’ as recommended by health professionals
• Enhance the almond industry’s capacity to educate health and foodservice professionals on the nutrition benefits of Australian almonds
• Ensure the almond industry sustainability credentials are well understood by key health and foodservice professionals
• Undertake research to develop a broad understanding of the versatility of almond based products including almond paste, flour and butter within the health-conscious consumer and foodservice markets.
Hort Innovation has prepared a Request for Proposal (RFP) document that provides background information, outlines the scope of services, the procurement process and the information required from interested parties.
