Horticulture Innovation Australia (Hort Innovation) is a not-for-profit, grower-owned Research and Development Corporation (RDC) for Australia’s $15.1 billion horticulture industry. Hort Innovation invests around $120 million in research and development (R&D) and marketing programs annually to provide benefit to industry and the wider community.
Hort Innovation is seeking a suitably qualified, experienced and capable delivery partner for the project: VegNET 3.0 (VG21000).
The Australia Vegetable Industry Development Project VegNET 3.0 will assist the industry achieve the delivery and outcomes of their respective Strategic Investment Plan 2022 - 2026. Specifically, the project will involve the respondent to:
• Take an innovation system approach to the delivery of the National Operational Extension Plan and associated Vegetable Regional Extension Plans
• Deliver national extension services at a regional level in a strategic and coordinated manner leveraging the projects resources by networking, coordinating, and collaborating with industry service providers, industry organisations and associated stakeholders
• With a focus on the high priority issues from the National and Regional extension plans and working collaboratively with industry in solving the identified concerns support growers to increase their awareness, knowledge, attitude, skills and aspirations in these said areas leading to practice change and positive on ground impact
• Effective monitoring, evaluation and reporting of the project which enables clear communication to levy payers and other stake holders of the benefits to industry of this investment. Demonstrating an increase in awareness, development in skills, knowledge and practice change attributable to this project.
Hort Innovation has prepared a Request for Proposal (RFP) document that provides background information, outlines the scope of services, the procurement process and the information required from interested parties.
