Request for Proposal: Avocado market research (AV22000)
Horticulture Innovation Australia (Hort Innovation) is a not-for-profit, grower-owned Research and Development Corporation (RDC) for Australia’s $15.1 billion horticulture industry. Hort Innovation invests around $120 million in research and development (R&D) and marketing programs annually to provide benefit to industry and the wider community.
Hort Innovation is seeking a suitably qualified, experienced, and capable delivery partner for the project: Avocado Market Research (AV22000).
The objectives of the services being sought are to:
• Adopt primary and secondary market research to produce timely and commercially relevant market intelligence for Thailand and India.
• Collect and analyse market intelligence statistics and trade data for the Australian avocado industry so information can be used to inform future trade-related investments and for consideration of commercial export business opportunities.
• Provide insight in the global competition, structure of the market, market channel dynamics, pricing, seasonal windows, consumer preferences, consumption, and perceptions of avocados in Thailand and India.
Hort Innovation has prepared a Request for Proposal (RFP) document that provides background information, outlines the scope of services, the procurement process and the information required from interested parties.
