Turf industry communications program (TU22000)
Horticulture Innovation Australia (Hort Innovation) is a not-for-profit, grower-owned Research and Development Corporation (RDC) for Australia’s $15.1 billion horticulture industry. Hort Innovation invests around $120 million in research and development (R&D) and marketing programs annually to provide benefit to industry and the wider community.
Hort Innovation is seeking a suitably qualified, experienced and capable delivery partner for the project: Turf industry communications program (TU22000).
The objectives of the services being sought are to help Hort Innovation achieve 2022-26 Turf Strategic Investment Plan Outcome three and associated KPI’s. The Turf SIP outcome three asks for “improved capability and an innovative culture in the Australian turf industry maximises investments in productivity and demand” through developing and fostering the advancement and profitability of a sustainable natural turfgrass industry in Australia.
This will be achieved by facilitating the uptake of R&D, providing information and knowledge on industry developments, events, explaining the benefits from the industry R&D and marketing levy investments and providing industry stakeholders with information to better inform the wider community about the many benefits of turf and the turf industry.
The project aims to increase engagement with industry and improve understanding of best practice, emerging production and supply chain information in relation to R&D project outcomes and outputs. Ultimately this will help to create a better-informed industry to support improvements within and across turf businesses.
In addition, the turf industry communications program promotes an understanding of the role of Hort Innovation and encourages engagement with the national R&D programs to all turf levy payers.
Hort Innovation has prepared a Request for Proposal (RFP) document that provides background information, outlines the scope of services, the procurement process and the information required from interested parties.
