Request for Proposal: Capturing the real and potential benefits and costs of on-farm biosecurity measures (MT22008)
Hort Innovation is a not-for-profit, grower-owned research and development corporation (RDC) for Australia’s $15.1 billion horticulture industry. Hort Innovation invests around $120 million in research and development (R&D) and marketing programs annually to provide benefit to industry and the wider community.
Hort Innovation is seeking a suitably qualified, experienced, and capable delivery partner for the project: Capturing the real and potential benefits and costs of on-farm biosecurity measures (MT22008).
The objectives of the services being sought are to:
• Incentivise growers to adopt on-farm plant health practices as business-as-usual activities to improve their biosecurity preparedness and management of existing plant pests and diseases.
• Determine the costs of on-farm biosecurity measures by breaking down the individual components and the farm-gate benefits to growers, i.e., everyday benefits of good on-farm hygiene.
• Determine the benefit or cost of on-farm biosecurity practices to growers in the event of a biosecurity incursion.
Hort Innovation has prepared a Request for Proposal (RFP) document that provides background information, outlines the scope of services, the procurement process and the information required from interested parties.
The RFP may be downloaded from www.tenders.net (you will need to be a member of tenders.net to access this information).
The closing date for responses is 9 December 2022, 3.00 pm (AEDT). Tender close date extended to 21 December 2022, 3.00 pm (AEDT).
