Request for Proposal: Banana in-store merchandising program FY23 (BA22505)
Hort Innovation is a not-for-profit, grower-owned research and development corporation (RDC) for Australia’s $15.1 billion horticulture industry. Hort Innovation invests around $120 million in research and development (R&D) and marketing programs annually to provide benefit to industry and the wider community.
Hort Innovation is seeking a suitably qualified, experienced, and capable delivery partner for the project: Banana in-store merchandising program FY23 (BA22505).
The objectives of the services are to help Hort Innovation achieve Strategic Investment Plan outcome one: demand creation and outcome two: industry supply, productivity and sustainability and include:
• Improve availability of both green Eat Later and yellow Eat Now bananas in-store
• Comply with retailer specific merchandising standards
• Ensure compliance to Eat Now and Eat Later layouts
• Enhance quality of shopping (ease and attractiveness) of the banana category at the retail level, to encourage increased sales and increased average weight of purchase per shop
• Creating a strong return on investment for growers in terms of demand creation of Australian bananas.
Hort Innovation has prepared a Request for Proposal (RFP) document that provides background information, outlines the scope of services, the procurement process and the information required from interested parties.
