• To explore the feasibility of establishing a coordinated and centralised web-based platform to collate horticulture germplasm collection information, including associated data for the germplasm collections to allow greater utility of the collections across horticulture
• To conduct a preliminary collation of readily available germplasm information in horticultural industries for inclusion in a web-based platform
• To conduct a high-level benefit cost analysis of the value of the preliminary horticultural germplasm collections in Australia as relevant to climate change and biosecurity preparedness
• To provide recommendations on the maintenance, or otherwise, of these preliminary horticultural germplasm collections (or subsets of the collections), into the future to support climate change and biosecurity preparedness
