Hort Innovation is the not-for-profit, grower-owned research and development corporation for Australia’s $16 billion horticulture industry. We invest more than $120M per year in research and development, marketing and trade activities to build a prosperous and sustainable future for growers.
Hort Innovation is seeking a suitably qualified, experienced, and capable delivery partner for the project: Avocado Retail Education FY24 (AV23007).
The objectives of the services are to help Hort Innovation achieve their desired SIP outcomes: demand creation and strategy as well as consumer Demand, including the education of retail staff on the best storage/handling and merchandising practices.
This will facilitate a reduction in bruising of avocados when merchandised as well as a reduction in squeezing by retail customers to determine ripeness.
This will lead to:
· Increased demand for Australian Avocados.
· Increased purchase intent from consumers
· Increased conversion at shelf from consumers
· Increased consumer satisfaction of Australian Avocados due to improved quality.
Hort Innovation has prepared a Request for Proposal (RFP) document that provides background information, outlines the scope of services, the procurement process and the information required from interested parties.
