Hort Innovation is the not-for-profit, grower-owned research and development corporation for Australia’s $16 billion horticulture industry. We invest more than $120M per year in research and development, marketing and trade activities to build a prosperous and sustainable future for growers.
Hort Innovation is seeking a suitably qualified, experienced and capable delivery partner for the project: Developing a strategy for long term sustainability of avocado production in Australia (AV23016).
The objectives of the services being sought are to: :
• Provide avocado industry and avocado growers with an overview of the status and potential priorities to improve the sustainability of the industry/businesses.
• Provide the avocado industry with an understanding of the potential environmental, social and market impacts
• Identify risks and vulnerabilities of the industry
• Provide the avocado industry with clear messaging on sustainability to support increase in consumption.
• Inform the avocado industry of future strategic industry investment.
Hort Innovation has prepared a Request for Proposal (RFP) document that provides background information, outlines the scope of services, the procurement process and the information required from interested parties.
