Horticulture Innovation Australia (Hort Innovation) is a not-for-profit, grower-owned Research and Development Corporation (RDC) for Australia’s close to $16 billion horticulture industry. Hort Innovation invests around $120 million in research and development (R&D) and marketing programs annually to provide benefits to the industry and the wider community.
Hort Innovation is seeking a suitably qualified, experienced and capable delivery partner for the Next-gen pyrethrum project to address industry disease challenges (PY23002).
The project aims to deliver on the following key objectives:
• Develop effective and efficient monitoring tools for ray blight and tan spot.
• Develop evidence-based economic thresholds to inform fungicide application decisions.
• Establish disease tolerance levels beyond which disease load causes significant economic loss.
• Demonstrate the efficacy of the available control measures and identify the need to adopt different management options.
Hort Innovation has prepared a Request for Proposal (RFP) document that provides background information and outlines the scope of services, the procurement process and the information required from interested parties.

The closing date for responses is 2nd April 2024 3:00 PM (AEDT).
