Request for Proposal: RD&I strategy for the Australian organic horticulture sector (LP24001)
Horticulture Innovation Australia (Hort Innovation) is a not-for-profit, grower-owned Research and Development Corporation (RDC) for Australia’s $16.3 billion horticulture industry. Hort Innovation invests around $154 million in research and development (R&D) and marketing programs annually to provide benefit to industry and the wider community.
Hort Innovation is seeking a suitably qualified, experienced and capable delivery partner for the project: RD&I strategy for the Australian organic horticulture sector (LP24001).
The objectives of the services being sought are to:
- Develop a Research, Development and Innovation (RD&I) strategy for the Australian organic horticulture sector. The developed RD&I strategy will serve as a foundational input to future investment in research, development and innovation for Australian organic horticultural producers, both current and emerging.
- The RD&I strategy, developed through this investment, will provide Hort Innovation and the wider Australian organic horticulture innovation ecosystem with a clear pathway for building the knowledge, skills, technologies and capabilities required by Australian organic horticulture producers to proactively and effectively respond to international and domestic demand trends.
