Horticulture Innovation Australia (Hort Innovation) is a not-for-profit, grower-owned Research and Development Corporation (RDC) for Australia’s $16.3 billion horticulture industry. Hort Innovation invests around $154 million in research and development (R&D) and marketing programs annually to provide benefit to industry and the wider community.
Hort Innovation is seeking a suitably qualified, experienced and capable delivery partner for the project: Understanding the environmental impacts of cherry production for long term sustainability (CY24005).
The objectives of the services being sought are to:
1) Inform cherry growers nationally of the environmental performance of the sector and provide growers with an understanding on the potential to improve the sustainability of their businesses.
2) Provide growers with industry-based data that decision-makers can use in support of sustainability initiatives and inform future strategic industry investments.
3) Help Industry identify the area of greatest return/feasibility for practice change and the value of progressing alternative resources.
4) Provide the cherry industry with clear messaging on the environmental sustainability of the industry which can support market development.
Hort Innovation has prepared a Request for Proposal (RFP) document that provides background information, outlines the scope of services, the procurement process and the information required from interested parties.
