Horticulture Innovation Australia (Hort Innovation) is a not-for-profit, grower-owned Research and Development Corporation (RDC) for Australia’s $9 billion horticulture industry. Hort Innovation invests around $100 million in research and development (R&D) and marketing programs annually to provide benefit to industry and the wider community.
Hort Innovation is seeking a suitably qualified, experienced and capable delivery partner for the project: Australian avocado consumer research (AV17002).
The objectives of the services are to help Hort Innovation:
• Design, execute and analyse a comprehensive research study to support development of a creative and validated marketing strategy that contributes directly and measurably to a substantial increase in the demand for Australian avocados by Australian main grocery buyers
This study must include:
o The identification of different types of avocado consumer segments – capturing triggers and barriers to purchase, usage behavior, purchasing behaviour, life stage/demographic profile
o Awareness and perception of current marketing campaign “love that avocado feeling”.
Hort Innovation has prepared a Request for Proposal (RFP) document that provides background information, outlines the scope of services, the procurement process and the information required from interested parties.

The closing date for responses is Friday, 15th, September, 2017, 5.00 pm (AEDT).
