Hort Innovation is a not-for-profit, grower-owned Research and Development Corporation (RDC) for Australia’s $9 billion horticulture industry. Hort Innovation invests around $100 million in research and development (R&D) and marketing programs annually to provide benefit to industry and the wider community.

Hort Innovation is seeking a suitably qualified, experienced and capable delivery partner for the project: Melon industry development and communication (VM17001).

The objectives of the services being sought are to:
1. Provide information and knowledge on industry updates, events and articulating the return on investment from the melon R&D levy
2. Facilitate the adoption of R&D by Australian melon businesses
3. Increase the reach of the melon Industry R&D program by engaging stakeholders in the melon value chain
4. Inform primary and secondary stakeholders about current issues relevant to the melon industry
5. Provide primary and secondary stakeholders and the broader community with information on the benefits that the industry delivers.

Hort Innovation has prepared a Request for Proposal (RFP) document that provides background information, outlines the scope of services, the procurement process and the information required from interested parties.
