Hort Innovation is a not-for-profit, grower-owned Research and Development Corporation (RDC) for Australia’s $9 billion horticulture industry. Hort Innovation invests around $100 million in research and development (R&D) and marketing programs annually to provide benefit to industry and the wider community.
Hort Innovation is seeking a suitably qualified, experienced and capable delivery partner for the project: Document Discovery Portal (VG17005).
The objectives of the services being sought are to provide all stakeholders within the vegetable industry with the ability to better discover, access, and utilise research reports and outputs.
Better discovery:
This DDP is a portal for easy document discovery. Its intentions are to make it easy to find relevant reports, and to also discover relevant reports that relate to their industry or search terms. Relevance is the key term here; how the syntax of our search algorithm works to identify and deliver relevant search terms on scale will be paramount to the success of this project.
Better understanding:
A content strategy and implementation outline for past and future reports is needed to allow more people to read and understand the key findings of each report in simple terms, while still having full access to the original reports and outputs; A process for summarising and communicating complex documents into succinct and digestible formats for greater reading.
Hort Innovation has prepared a Request for Proposal (RFP) document that provides background information, outlines the scope of services, the procurement process and the information required from interested parties.
