Horticulture Innovation Australia (Hort Innovation) is a not-for-profit, grower-owned Research and Development Corporation (RDC) for Australia’s $9 billion horticulture industry. Hort Innovation invests around $100 million in research and development (R&D) and marketing programs annually to provide benefit to industry and the wider community.

Hort Innovation is seeking a suitably qualified, experienced and capable delivery partner for the project: Macadamia trade relations program (MC17516).

The objectives of the services being sought are to:
• Drive awareness of the value of macadamias:
o Increase food manufacturers knowledge of consumer appeal for macadamias
o Increase food manufacturers knowledge of the alignment of macadamias to current and future consumer, food and health trends
o Provide food manufacturers with product concepts using macadamias and the consumer insights behind these concepts
• Increase frequency:
o Drive the launch of ten new products containing macadamias per annum from 2018.

Hort Innovation has prepared a Request for Proposal (RFP) document that provides background information, outlines the scope of services, the procurement process and the information required from interested parties.
