Hort Innovation is a not-for-profit, grower-owned Research and Development Corporation (RDC) for Australia’s $9 billion horticulture industry. Hort Innovation invests around $100 million in research and development (R&D) and marketing programs annually to provide benefit to industry and the wider community.
Hort Innovation is seeking a suitably qualified, experienced and capable delivery partner for the project: Review of the biosecurity plan for the sweetpotato industry (PW17000).
The objectives of the services being sought are to develop and disseminate a biosecurity plan for the sweetpotato industry, and maintain a current implementation table:
• Support the Australian sweetpotato industry in satisfying its biosecurity obligations
• Ensure that the sweetpotato industry and stakeholders have identified exotic pest risks and mitigation actions necessary to managing risks effectively
• Establish a valid base for decisions on future investment in biosecurity-related research, development and extension.
Hort Innovation has prepared a Request for Proposal (RFP) document that provides background information, outlines the scope of services, the procurement process and the information required from interested parties.
