Hort Innovation is a not-for-profit, grower-owned Research and Development Corporation (RDC) for Australia’s $9 billion horticulture industry. Hort Innovation invests around $100 million in research and development (R&D) and marketing programs annually to provide benefit to industry and the wider community.
Hort Innovation is seeking a suitably qualified, experienced and capable delivery partner for the project: Educating health professionals about Australian olive products (OL17002).
The objectives of the services being sought are to:
• Educate health professionals, including healthcare professionals, scientists, researchers and students of health-related disciplines about the health benefits of Australian olive products through a program of engagement and extension activities that are informed by credible science
• Understand the key learning needs for health professionals about Australian olive products through market research to inform education strategies
• Provide health professionals with a digital compilated olive science database which:
o Focuses on the impacts of olive products in the Australian context (rather than Mediterranean populations) including health effects, attributes of Australian olive products and relevant quality standards
o Contains a library of health information relevant to olive products to facilitate research collaboration and understanding of lifestyle interventions that improve the health and wellness of Australians
• Provides key education resources that can be shared with health professional stakeholders.
Hort Innovation has prepared a Request for Proposal (RFP) document that provides background information, outlines the scope of services, the procurement process and the information required from interested parties.
