Horticulture Innovation Australia (Hort Innovation) is a not-for-profit, grower-owned Research and Development Corporation (RDC) for Australia's $9 billion horticulture industry. Hort Innovation invests around $100 million in research and development (R&D) and marketing programs annually to provide benefit to industry and the wider community.
Hort Innovation is seeking a suitably qualified, experienced and capable delivery partner for the project: Alive and thriving - Phase 1 - Indoor plant survival matrix (NY18009)
The objectives of the services are to help Hort Innovation:
• Phase 1: Conduct a desktop study to investigate novel and innovative approaches to guiding indoor plant survival globally and present these in a concise report together with a prioritised matrix to guide survival for assimilation into consumer-facing app
• Phase 2: Engage consumers in a simple to follow regime of plant care, focused on indoor plants (based on metro audience and known industry/consumer trends)
• Phase 2: Develop content for a new consumer-facing app that allows users to input their data and be provided with a scientifically-based watering schedule for each of their indoor plants.
Note: Only Phase 1 is to be delivered by this project. Phase 2 will be procured separately.
