Request for Proposal: Leadership development program
Hort Innovation is a not-for-profit, grower-owned Research and Development Corporation (RDC) for Australia's $9 billion horticulture industry. Hort Innovation invests around $100 million in research and development (R&D) and marketing programs annually to provide benefit to industry and the wider community.
Hort Innovation is seeking a suitably qualified, experienced and capable delivery partner for the project: Leadership development program (MT18016).
The objectives of the services being sought are to assist Hort Innovation:
• Build a pool of industry leaders with an increased understanding of the whole of industry value chain
• Identify people from the various horticulture industries who are motivated to further build their leadership skills by taking on industry roles and seeking new opportunities to enhance their leadership skills further
• Develop a growing pool of people who are willing to innovate in horticulture businesses.
It is envisaged that this will involve delivery of an annual leadership program involving face to face training within Australia. This three-year program is designed to identify and develop the leadership capacity for people from various horticulture industries including vegetable, potato (fresh and processing), sweetpotato, raspberry and blackberry and summerfruit. As such the program content will need to be suitable for a variety of horticultural industry participants.
Hort Innovation has prepared a Request for Proposal (RFP) document that provides background information, outlines the scope of services, the procurement process and the information required from interested parties. The closing date for responses is 5.00pm (AEDT), 15 March, 2019.
