Request for Proposal: AV22011 Monitoring Avocado supply chain quality
Horticulture Innovation Australia (Hort Innovation) is a not-for-profit, grower-owned Research and Development Corporation (RDC) for Australia’s $15.1 billion horticulture industry. Hort Innovation invests more than $120 million in research and development (R&D) and marketing programs annually to benefit the industry and wider community.
Hort Innovation is seeking a suitably qualified, experienced and capable delivery partner for the project: Monitoring Avocado supply chain quality (AV22011).
The objectives of the services being sought are to increase the proportion of consignments that meet the ‘90% internal fruit quality acceptance industry standard’ by 10%.
This new project, AV22011 ‘Monitoring avocado supply chain quality’ will build upon the outcomes of AV18000 and AV19003 and bring together all aspects of supply chain monitoring to continue to help industry to meet, or exceed, consumer quality expectations. This will involve three years of data collection for supply chain and retail quality. This data will be provided to supply chain stakeholders in a manner that preserves confidentiality but provides enough information for a business to determine if and how their quality levels have fallen below industry standard.
Hort Innovation has prepared a Request for Proposal (RFP) document that provides background information, outlines the scope of services, the procurement process and the information required from interested parties.
The RFP may be downloaded from www.tenders.net (you will need to be a member of tenders.net to access this information).
The closing date for responses is (AEDT), 3/02/2023 10 AM.
