Hort Innovation is the not-for-profit, grower-owned research and development corporation for Australia’s $16 billion horticulture industry. We invest more than $120M per year in research and development, marketing and trade activities to build a prosperous and sustainable future for growers.
Hort Innovation is seeking a suitably qualified, experienced and capable delivery partner for the project: Strengthening the sustainability of melon production (VM2300X).
The objectives of the services being sought are to :
• Inform melon growers nationally of the environmental performance of the sector and provide growers with an understanding on the potential to improve the sustainability of their businesses.
• Industry can identify the area of greatest return/feasibility for practice change and the value of progressing alternative resources
• The melon industry will have an understanding of the potential environmental impacts and develop future strategies for sustainability.
Hort Innovation has prepared a Request for Proposal (RFP) document that provides background information, outlines the scope of services, the procurement process and the information required from interested parties.
