Request for Proposal: New Custard Apple varieties and enhanced Industry productivity (CU16002)
Hort Innovation is a not-for-profit, grower-owned Research and Development Corporation (RDC) for Australia’s $9 billion horticulture industry. Hort Innovation invests around $100 million in research and development (R&D) and marketing programs annually to provide benefit to industry and the wider community.
Hort Innovation is seeking a suitably qualified, experienced and capable delivery partner for the project: New Custard Apple varieties and enhanced Industry productivity (CU16002).
The objectives of the services being sought are to:
• Continue develop new green and red skin high yielding Custard Apple varieties via clonal and seedling rootstock selections (building upon on previous project phase CU13001).
• Monitor and analyse rootstock and variety trials established under CU13001 to firm recommendations to industry.
• Increase grower awareness and knowledge of new varieties and production implications.
Hort Innovation has prepared a Request for Proposal (RFP) document that provides background information, outlines the scope of services, the procurement process and the information required from interested parties.
