Hort Innovation is a not-for-profit, grower-owned Research and Development Corporation (RDC) for Australia’s $9 billion horticulture industry. Hort Innovation invests around $100 million in research and development (R&D) and marketing programs annually to provide benefit to industry and the wider community.
Hort Innovation is seeking a suitably qualified, experienced and capable delivery partner for the project: Maximise the biosecurity of the Australian citrus industry Budwood facility(CT17003).
The objectives of the services being sought are to assist Hort Innovation:
• Increase the biosecurity of the Australian citrus industry's Budwood scheme and multiplication facility
• Ensure the Australian facility demonstrates world best practice in protection against Asian citrus psyllid
• Ensure the Australian source of propagation material is protected from Huanglongbing (HLB) and its vector
• Demonstrate strategies to increase industry preparedness for incursions of significant biosecurity risks like the Asian citrus psyllid (carrying HLB).
Hort Innovation has prepared a Request for Proposal (RFP) document that provides background information, outlines the scope of services, the procurement process and the information required from interested parties.
