Engineering, Procurement, Construction (EPC) for Hybrid Mini Grid Systems and Supply of materials for the low voltage distribution network, Fefen Island, Chuuk State, FSM
Provision of works, services and goods under this RFP are focused on Fefen Island, Chuuk State, Federated States of Micronesia (FSM).
SPC are seeking proposals for:
- Lot 1. Installation of distributed interconnected hybrid mini grid power supply infrastructure on Fefen Island at three sites, comprising:
o Rooftop and canopy solar PV (≥ 309 kWp), battery (≥ 1.35 MWh) and diesel generation (≥ 500 kVA), technical switch room at Sapota village (grid forming)
o Rooftop solar PV (≥ 211 kWp) at Fein village (grid following)
o Rooftop and canopy solar PV (≥ 250 kWp) at Mesa village (grid following)
o On-the-job and formal training of Chuuk Public Utilities corporation (CPUC) technicians in the operation, maintenance and troubleshooting of the above power supply systems.
o Rehabilitation and retrofitting of roofs earmarked for rooftop PV installations.
- Lot 2. Supply of materials for the low voltage distribution network on Fefen Island (to be installed by others).
While not mandatory, bidders are encouraged to provide comprehensive proposals for both Lots.
