This RFP aims at identifying individuals or entities interested in providing specialist fish ageing services.
Scope of Services:
The selected service provider(s) will deliver the following services as required:
• Preparation of fish hard-parts for application of daily and annual ageing methods.
• Daily and annual ageing of fish hard-parts using modern methods and quality control processes.
• Provision of result data files and accompanying metadata compatible with SPC biological database.
• If required, contribution to report writing, presentation and scientific publication.

• Application of novel and exploratory methods to age fish and other marine species.
• Advice on suitability of specialist fish ageing equipment for SPC application and support for supply.
