Sustainable Pacific Fisheries Programme Capacity Building and Training Research
The purpose of this research is to understand the barriers and enablers to behaviour change in the Pacific tuna fishery and reef-based coastal fishery context. Moreover, the research will seek to identify methods and approaches to capacity building which are most effective in generating behaviour change on the ground. The research will make recommendations as to how to improve the efficacy of capacity building and training within the SPF Programme to promote greater sustainability of benefits
