Background:
Western Downs Regional Council (WDRC) are proposing to construct a high quality Parklands and Botanical Gardens on a 4 Hectare site located on the boundaries of Wambo St., Villiers St., Canaga St. and a railway reserve that fronts the Warrego Highway, Chinchilla. As part of the Parklands WDRC require a water play area that reflects the region's history and compliments the overall theme of the Parklands. WDRC are seeking a state of the art value for money water play area that will assist in making the Chinchilla Parklands and Botanical Gardens a destination of preference.
Tender Requirements:
Tenders submitted are required to be all-inclusive lump sum price and must provide a proposed design with the tender. Tender submissions that do not include a proposed design will be considered non-conforming and will be excluded. It expected that the contractor will undertake a site visit of the proposed site prior to submission of their tender and will be aware of all latent and existing site conditions. Should the contractor have any queries regarding the scope of works, it is expected that these be raised prior to the submission of their tender, and the outcome of any queries be included in the submitted tender price.

Tenders must be received by the closing time of 2.30pm Thursday 31 May 2018. Submissions received after the closing time may be deemed invalid.
Council may invite tenderers to change their tenders in accordance with the provision of Section 228 (7) of the Local Government Regulation 2012. Council reserves the right to accept any submission in whole or part and the right not to accept the lowest or all submissions.
