Western Downs Regional Council (WDRC) is approaching a point in time whereby some key components of their Productions and Disaster Recovery (DR) environments are approaching end of life and replacement is required. For this reason, they are approaching the market looking for a suitable vendor to assist with the development and delivery of the new environments to support them for the next five years.
This Expression of Interest (EOI) aims to identify potential System Integrators who can assist WDRC through two primary scopes of work, namely:
1. The supply and implementation of replacement Production infrastructure that support the current VMware virtualised environment.
2. WDRC are seeking a suitable vendor to supply and deliver an equivalent Disaster Recovery capability offsite.
Whilst it is not mandatory to respond to both components of this EOI, it is mandatory that both environments integrate seamlessly.
EOI's must be received by the closing time of 2.30pm Wednesday 18 July 2018. Submissions received after the closing time may be deemed invalid.
Council may invite tenderers to change their tenders in accordance with the provision of Section 228 (7) of the Local Government Regulation 2012. Council reserves the right to accept any submission in whole or part and the right not to accept the lowest or all submissions.
