The EOI is being put to the market to determine and gauge interest in tendering for the Tara Memorial Pool Redevelopment project. It is expected that the tender for the main works will be sent out in October 2021 and be awarded in November for commencement in December 2021.
The site itself is located on Smallacombe Street, Tara Qld. 300km or 3.5hours west of Brisbane. The scope of the works in and around the building will include the following:
• Demolition of existing buildings and part of the existing concrete pool
• New 8 lane, 25m pool with accessible ramp
• Pool heating
• New plant building and new plant for the new 25m pool, existing splashpad and wading pool
• New reception entry / kiosk building
• New amenities block including adult change facility, PWD, male & female ablutions
• Soft and hard landscaping
