Background:
WDRC have identified various water mains within the Chinchilla town centre that require replacement. These water main replacements include:
- Theatre Street 150mm Water Main replacement from Bell to Middle Street
- Heeney Street 150mm Water Main replacement via directional drill from Bell to Middle Street
- First Avenue 200mm Water Main replacement from Bell to Middle Street
- Middle Street 150mm Water Main replacement from Colamba to Wambo Street
This project will improve the town water supply reliability and will increase water volume availability to CBD areas for future developments and firefighting capacity.
