Background:
The charming wheat and cattle town of Wandoan is a welcome stop between Miles and Taroom along the Leichhardt Way, set on a backdrop of towering grain silos and prime farming land. Discover a proud heritage and some of the region’s best bush camping and fishing spots. South of Wandoan lies the small settlement of Guluguba, home to just over 40 farming families. Originally a mixed cropping area, the area now successfully produces beef cattle and grain.
Western Downs Regional Council owns and operates facilities and amenities for Staff and Visitors to the region. Currently Council seeks commercial cleaning services for the Wandoan Public Toilets.
This contract is for the supply by the Contractor to Council of Goods, or Services, or both, as set out in schedule 2. When not referred to specifically, the Goods or Services or both, that the contract is to supply to Council, are referred to in the Contract as the 'Supply".
The sites set out in Schedule 2 are the location where and frequency the Contractor is to deliver any services, or where it is to carry out any services that are required to be carried out at council premises.
Council recognises the importance of professional cleaning services to promote a safe and healthy space, provide high-quality cleaned facilities and amenities and to make a good impression for both locals and visitors alike.
