Background:
Western Downs Regional Council (WDRC) is commencing a three-year water security improvement project which will reliably increase existing drinking water supply by 2.2 ML/day. Part of this project is this Dalby Water Trunk Main - Stage 2 Pipeline.
Generally, the pipelines are to be installed between the proposed Water Treatment Plant (WTP) on the Warrego Highway neighbouring the Dalby Waste Transfer Station and the Edward Street Reservoir in accordance with this specification and to the satisfaction of the Superintendent.
WDRC seeks an experienced water pipeline contractor to undertake the lump sum contract to provide construction works in logical steps to minimise disruption to the environment, public utility providers, and the community.
This is a Lump Sum Contract which is formulated in accordance with Western Downs Regional Council’s (WDRC) modified AS2124 General Conditions of Contract document. The scope of works under the contract comprises the construction and provision of the pipelines, all plant, labour, materials, and testing to commission the pipelines.
