Background
As part of Councils ongoing effort to enhance its security posture, Council is in the process of an information classification initiative and improving security for employees on, and off the network. This Request for Tender (RFT) seeks to implement a robust and flexible solution. Our primary objectives are:
• Enhanced Internet Security: The solution should offer robust protection irrespective of their location.
• Flexibility in Site Internet expansion: allow council to connect locations directly to the internet without individual firewall licensing.
• Data movement monitoring: To support our information classification initiative, the solution must provide enhanced visibility into data movements.
• Data loss prevention: The solution should have tools and features that allows compliance recommended data handling for labelled (via Microsoft Purview EMS E3) and unlabelled data that assists our employees in securely managing and handling data. Example feature are - Such as real time coaching mechanisms (educate users in the moment), blocking high-risk movements, redirecting to approved applications, and confirmation prompts.
• Partnership: an implementation partner that will assist Council deploy the solution and provide a Data loss prevention as a service capability.
