Council proposes to deliver the required infrastructure in a number of work packages including Civil and Concrete Works, Weighbridge Installation, Gatehouse Installation, Electrical and Plumbing Services.
This Request for Tender is to procure a Civil and Concrete Works Contractor to undertake required civil works including concrete weighbridge foundation and formwork, provision for services, and a concrete weighbridge deck to enable the weighbridge installations at each of the Waste Facilities. Council has separately procured National Weighing and Instruments to provide and install the weighbridge.
The ancillary works including Gatehouse provision and Services are being undertaken on the sites simultaneously with the proposed scope of works, by others.
For clarity the scope of works is the:
• Construction of roadways and drainage,
• Installation of underground electrical and data conduits, and
• Construction of weighbridge concrete foundations, ramps and formwork, and weighbridge deck.
