AIRPORT MANAGEMENT
Reference Number 6.2/1/13-14 Management of Miles Airport Qld
Reference Number 6.2/2/13-14 Management of Chinchilla Airport Qld
Miles and Chinchilla are located within the Western Downs and are the main ports for Fly In Fly Out (FIFO) workers accessing the eastern Surat Basin gas fields. Miles airport has recently being upgraded to accommodate code C aircraft.
Tender Documents are available on Council's website at www.wdrc.qld.gov.au via the Tenders Net link.
General advice regarding documents is to be directed to Mr Graeme Preston on (07) 4679 4009. Requests for information regarding the technical details in the tender should be directed to Rob Mactaggart, from The Airport Group on 0417 603 518 or email: robm@theairportgroup.com.au.
Submissions may be emailed to tenders@wdrc.qld.gov.au (preferred), or posted to Western Downs Regional Council, PO Box 551, DALBY QLD 4405. If submitting via email, the subject line must clearly state the reference number and description of tender.
Tenders must be received by the closing time of 2.30pm on Tuesday 23 July 2013. Submissions received after the closing time may be deemed invalid.
Intending contractors are required to attend a site visit of which, details are contained in the contract documents.
Council may invite tenderers to change their tenders in accordance with the provision of Section 228 (7) of the Local Government Regulation 2012. Council reserves the right to accept any submission in whole or part and the right not to accept the lowest or all submissions
