Background Information:
This tender is for the Design, Installation, Commissioning, Monitoring and Maintenance of Photovoltaic Solar Arrays at 10 separate sites located in the Western Downs Regional Council area. There are four sites in Dalby, one site in Tara, one site in Chinchilla, three sites in Miles and one site in Wandoan.
Council is looking for innovative and cost effective solutions in lowering its energy costs and welcomes input from prospective tenders in achieving this. Provision of infrastructure to enable retrofitted battery storage is a desirable outcome for Council.
The tender is for all of the required materials and work to undertake this construction. Western Downs Regional Council intends to award all of the work to a single capable entity who will complete the contract in accordance with specifications in a timely and proficient manner.
