2026 Motherland African Festival - Performers
Liverpool City Council is seeking expressions of interest from performers who would like to perform at our upcoming Motherland African Festival event held in April 2026.
Motherland African Festival is a three-day event taking place from Friday 17thto Sunday 19th April 2026.
Experience all the best that Africa has to offer at Macquarie Mall – from a mainstage show to African delicacies, as well as handcrafted clothing and artisanal goods.
From Morocco to Zimbabwe, follow the sounds of the drums and join us on a journey to Africa!

Date: Friday 17th April, Saturday 18th April and Sunday 19th April 2026
Time: 5:00pm - 10:00pm
Please ensure the below points are considered before completing the Performer EOI:
• Performers have the option to perform on either day (Friday, Saturday or Sunday) or on multiple days at the discretion of Liverpool City Council Events Team.
• Performers need to provide a full detailed outline of their performers, number of performers and rates.
