Financial Assistance and Donations Program
Narromine Shire Council is now accepting applications for its 2025/26 Financial Assistance and Donations Program, encouraging local community organisations and not-for-profit groups to apply for funding support.
Eligible groups can apply for up to $5,000 to assist with projects, operational costs, annual donations or rates assistance. This annual initiative reflects Council’s strong commitment to supporting the dedicated and dynamic community organisations that make Narromine Shire such a great place to live.
Narromine Shire Council, General Manager, Mrs Jane Redden, said the program provides a transparent and consistent process to distribute community funding.
“This annual application process provides a streamlined and consistent way to support the community groups who work so hard to bring people together, enhance local spaces and provide services in the Narromine Region,” Mrs Redden said.
“Last year, Council provided over $24,695 in funding to a wide range of groups who do extraordinary things in our region.”
Successful recipients from the 2024/25 funding round included Narromine Hospital Auxiliary, Narromine District Junior Rugby League, Narromine Junior Gorillas Rugby Union and Narromine Tennis Club.
Eligible groups and organisations are encouraged to apply now. Application forms and guidelines are available on Council’s website or can be collected from the Customer Service Centre on Dandaloo Street, Narromine.
