ITT 474 (ITT474) - Epping Town Centre Streetscape Upgrade
Tenders are invited from experienced civil and landscaping contractors to provide a comprehensive streetscape upgrade across several streets in the Epping Town Centre east of the Epping Railway Station ,including Langston Place, Pembroke Street, Oxford Street, Cambridge Street and the laneway connecting Oxford to Cambridge Streets in Epping.
The scope of work has been split into four areas including Areas A, B, C and D:
Area A: Oxford Street;
Area B: Pembroke Street, Langston Place and Oxford Street including signalised intersection;
Area C: Cambridge Street(Separable Portion)
Area D: Laneway adjacent to the Epping School of Arts(Separable Portion)
The proposed streetscape upgrade work generally includes:
• Demolition of existing streetscape elements
• Civil works such as new paving, drainage installation and upgrades, kerb ramps, access ramps, steps, and roadway reconstruction and resurfacing
• Installation of an irrigation system for planted areas
• Adjustments to service utility pits and lids
• Installation of new streetscape furniture, including elements with decorative lighting
• Electrical and lighting upgrades
• Installation of feature and decorative lighting to the Oxford Street façade of the Epping School of Arts building
• Installation of smart infrastructure
• Creation of new planted areas, including the planting of mature trees in Strata vault cells
• Installation of traffic signage and pavement markings
• A maintenance period following practical completion.
Tenderers must have ISO Certified Systems for Work Health and Safety, Quality Assurance and Management and Environmental Management to be considered for this tender.
A final decision will be made regarding this Tender in December 2025, with works anticipated to commence in March 2026.The Tender price is for a fixed lump sum.
