Q25/25 - Gilgandra Waste Facility Long-Term Plan of Management
Gilgandra Shire Council (GSC) is seeking quotations from suitably qualified and experienced consultants in the field of waste management to review the Gilgandra Waste Facility operations, including landfilling, stockpiling and ‘front of house’ and the Carlginda recycling operations to inform recommendations for improvements through an updated Long-Term Plan of Management (LTPoM). Management recommendations for the Arthursleigh Tyre Site will also form part of the review.
Front of house operations include:
• Operating hours
• The entry and gate house operation and record systems
• Traffic management and circulation
• Waste and recycling drop off
GSC is seeking to engage a consultant to develop a complete package of work, presented in a succinct format that engages with the audience and can be used to inform Council’s on-site operations at the GWF and Tyre site, service contract arrangements, long term financial planning and to pursue future funding opportunities.
Works should commence by the start of October 2025 with the package of works complete by the end of April 2026.
