PCC24/25-128 - Concrete Maintenance Works
The purpose of this tender is to establish a panel of suppliers or a sole supplier with the proven ability to provide concrete maintenance on an "as required" basis within the Penrith LGA.
The work to be performed under this contract generally consists of the following types:
- Reconstruction of concrete footpath and shared use path
- Reconstruction of concrete kerb & gutter
- Construction and/or reconstruction of concrete kerb ramps
- Construction of bus slabs
- Reconstruction of driveways
- Installation of sub-soil drainage pipe, and
- Other associated roads and parks concrete works

The contract will be for an initial three (3) year period, with an option to extend two (2) x one (1) year periods by mutual agreement and subject to satisfactory performance.
Council are looking to create a panel of contractors for these works, however, will determine how many companies they intend to appoint upon receiving and reviewing the tender responses.
It is expected that the highest ranked supplier (Preferred Contractor) will be given first preference to carry out the works. In the event that they are unavailable or do not have the capacity to perform the work the second ranked supplier will be requested to complete the work and so on.
