T022/2025 - HVAC Maintenance Services
Camden Council invites tenders for HVAC maintenance services. A detailed description of the requirements can be found in Council's Request for Tender document.
The scope of works is to provide the following.
- Scheduled maintenance services for HVAC systems as per the AIRAH - DA19 HVAC&R Maintenance guidelines.
- Coordinate maintenance of certain assets with Manufacturers, e.g. Daikin.
- Scheduled repairs to HVAC systems.
- Emergency repairs to HVAC systems.
- Provide an after-hours emergency response to HVAC issues - Note some Council facilities operate 7 days a week and may require after hours service calls to keep systems operational. You are required to provide an after-hours service and contact number.
- Supply and installation of new HVAC systems complaint with AS1668, AS/NZS 3000:2018, AS/NZS 5149 and any other Australian Standard as required.
- Coordinate Building Maintenance Systems (BMS) management and maintenance in house or with your third-party contractor to ensure software and firmware is up to date, inspections of control units and panels are all systems are operating correctly - currently 5 sites.
- Assist and complete Annual Fire Safety Statement inspections with third party contractors in relation to AC shutdowns on fire trips and Fire Dampers in systems or buildings.
- Certification (sign off) of the Annual Fire Safety Statement for the AC systems and Dampers as required - currently 13 sites.
- Offer advice / knowledge to Council Officers in relation to HVAC on new builds or renovations including recommendations on improvements to existing assets as required.
